ClearML Privacy Statement – Open-Source

1. Introduction

For this deployment, ClearML, as defined in the Terms of Use, does not collect personal data, usage data, or cookies from end-users.

2. Essential Definitions

Customer: As defined in the Terms of Use, and the entity operating the system toward End<-Users. User or End-User: individual using the system under Customer control.

3. Information We Collect

ClearML does not access, collect or process, any personal data, and the data you handle within your self-hosted Open-Source deployment. any such processing is performed solely by you as the controller.

However, when your deployment checks for updates, ClearML’s update service receives limited technical information, including the IP address used for the request and related country-level information.

In addition, you may choose to opt in to the collection of anonymous, aggregated usage information (for example, feature usage and version data) to help improve the Open-Source offering; such collection occurs only if and while you have explicitly enabled it.

4. Use of Personal and Usage Data

ClearML uses the limited technical information received through update checks, and any anonymous usage data you have opted in to share, solely to maintain, improve, and develop the ClearML software, the underlying platform, and related services (including performance, stability, security, and feature development).

We do not use this information to identify you or to profile individual users.

5. Legal Obligations and Regulatory Compliance

The Customer is solely responsible for compliance to all legal and regulatory obligations, as controller. ClearML has no routine access to personal data.

6. Data Security and Certifications

All security measures are implemented and controlled by the Customer. ClearML may provide guidance under separate agreements.

7. Service Quality and Data Privacy Measures

Not applicable to ClearML as processor/controller; Customer manages all data processing.

8. Sharing and Transfers of Personal Data

ClearML does not receive personal data from this deployment.

Any anonymous or aggregated technical or usage data that may be collected (if you have opted in) is used only by ClearML for the purposes described above and is not sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties, except where strictly necessary to operate our own infrastructure or required by law.

9. User Rights and Control

Not applicable.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Not applicable. ClearML does not set cookies in this deployment.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this document; material changes will be communicated appropriately. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Addendum – Open-Source Clarifications

For the open-source distribution, ClearML does not collect personal data, usage data, or cookies. Data, if any, is under the controller of the deploying party.
